You Can Design the 2017 Dog Tags

Minneapolis, MN: The board of Minnesota Leather Pride (MNLP) has narrowed our selection of potential themes for 2017 to two: F*ck It! and Walk in Her Boots. The board is now accepting design and concept submissions for both potential themes to be used for the annual MNLP dog tags, t-shirts, and other marketing materials. The board will select the final theme when the final artwork is selected.

When these themes were suggested, the contributor included the following descriptions:

F*CK IT!
"A year of breaking the rules and limitations that hold us back. A year to be bold. I think this can have a bit, or more than a bit, of a punk attitude. A year of not worrying about being pretty, but being dirty and gritty."

Walking In Her Boots
"Optional subtheme: Celebration of Women in Leather. A year to focus our thinking towards women in leather and how we can all be inclusive and welcoming. "

As in past years, all members of the community are welcome to submit concepts/designs. Submissions are due November 7. A PDF of the dog tag size can be downloaded from www.mnleatherpride.org/images/dog-tag-outlines.pdf.

Concepts/designs should be sent to artwork@mnleatherpride.org and the submissions will be reviewed by the board on November 14. A final theme and design will be determined on December 12.

Submitting designers are encouraged but not required to attend the November 14 meeting and present their concept/design. While artistic renderings are encouraged, written descriptions of design concepts are also welcome.
