Four possible themes were presented for six weeks of voting to the Minnesota leather/kink/BDSM community and now the results are in; “American Leather Story” is the theme for Minnesota Leather Pride in 2015!
The theme, which references the popular TV series “American Horror Story,” was suggested by community member Andrew Bertke.
With the theme identified, the board of Minnesota Leather Pride is immediately accepting submissions for dog tag concept/designs for 2015. As in past years, members of the community are welcome to submit concepts/designs for the 2015 dog tag.
Submissions are due January 5 at noon (12 p.m.). Designs should be sent to socialmedia@mnleatherpride.org and the submissions will be reviewed at the Events Committee meeting that day (Jan 5).
The committee will make a recommendation to the board for approval at the board meeting immediately following. Those submitting designs are encouraged but not required to attend the committee meeting and present their concept/design.
“We are moving quickly this year to create and produce our annual dog tag so they will be available in time for Minnesota Leather Pride Weekend on April 3-5, 2015,” said Ryan Brown, 2015 Events Chair. “Having the dog tags available earlier in the year will also provide more opportunities for people to show their pride all year long, and hopefully encourage groups hosting events to offer more opportunities to get a discount on admission when individuals present their 2015 dog tag at the door.”
