Leather Care Picnic

This event is envisioned as a casual time where people can bring their boots, harnesses, jackets, etc and give them some love and tending together before the winter season. We’re planning on having hot cider and just a chill hangout time at the picnic tables.

I thought it would be special to have an actual bootblack there set up for folks who don’t know how to do their own or would prefer having them tended by an expert! I’m also interested in raising some funds for my efforts with MPLS MPX Taskforce, putting together care packages for people sick at home with monkeypox.

My one bootblack friend isn’t available, so I’m casting a wider net! What do you think? Do you all know anyone who might be interested? The event is October 29th at 1pm.
